Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) 2 minutes into the game, Harald Stroom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Laur Nikopensius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Sparta's Olari Aav got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Lembit Kanne made a precise shot to the right of Laur Nikopensius. FC Sparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 22 played minutes Lohu got a freekick which was hit by Kuno Ilmatark. Egon Hell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helger Volmer in the 26th minute of play. August Kips charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed August Kips the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. August Kips hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Anti Heinsalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Stroom in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laur Nikopensius saved FC Sparta from getting behind. Lohu's Harald Stroom got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Helger Volmer took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Egon Hell to make any attempt to save it. Egon Hell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helger Volmer in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute Anti Heinsalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Hell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Stroom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kuno Ilmatark hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Egon Hell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anti Heinsalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laur Nikopensius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Kips in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute, August Kips ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laur Nikopensius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anti Heinsalu in the 82nd minute of play forced Lohu's goalkeeper Egon Hell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egon Hell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anti Heinsalu's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Eevald Varendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lohu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
