Teet Kübar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joonas Redi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Aivar Hanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonas Redi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toomika's Aivar Hanson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivar Hanson in the 16th minute of play forced FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's goalkeeper Joonas Redi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaupo Stroom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uku Uustalo in the 20th minute. Joonas Redi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teet Kübar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Toomika got a freekick which was hit by Alo Oher. If Teet Kübar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Toomika a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Märt Ilves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's Joonas Redi. 0-1. After the first half Toomika were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Teet Kübar made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, FC Manchester Utd Rakvere's goalkeeper Joonas Redi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aivar Hanson. 68 minutes in the game, Teet Kübar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joonas Redi having to interfere. Uku Uustalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaupo Stroom having to interfere. Joonas Redi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Kübar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Kaupo Stroom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Velberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toomika's Aivar Hanson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aivar Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonas Redi having to interfere. Toomika's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
