Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teet Kübar kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Harald Roosipuu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaupo Stroom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teet Kübar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Taimo Vananurk made a precise shot to the right of Kaupo Stroom. Toomika's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A nice corner shot did that Arvo Reisalu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kaupo Stroom quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teet Kübar in the 15th minute of play forced Rivendell fc's goalkeeper Aare Vallik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aivar Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janari Abel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Janari Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Teet Kübar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Andris Mees was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivendell fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toomika the free kick. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Toomika. Aare Vallik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Kübar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Teet Kübar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Aivar Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taimo Vananurk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Teet Kübar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toomika's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teet Kübar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Rivendell fc's goal looked a bit too open when Aivar Hanson came free, but Aare Vallik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aivar Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Toomika's goalkeeper Kaupo Stroom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Roosipuu. Rivendell fc's Aare Vallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teet Kübar in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Toomika booed when Rivendell fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antti Kangro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Märt Ilves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aare Vallik. Rivendell fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aare Vallik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alo Oher in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rivendell fc's Kaimo Vonk got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alo Oher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aare Vallik having to interfere. Teet Kübar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aivar Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aare Vallik having to interfere. Aare Vallik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aivar Hanson in the 94th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Toomika failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
