After some careless play in the Fc Monza defense, Adolf Leks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Ärsis. The Fc Monza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Ärsis should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Fc Monza's goal looked a bit too open when Agu Annast came free, but Tom Ärsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Agu Annast who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Monza's Tom Ärsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolf Leks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Ärsis having to interfere. Uno Volmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Monza's zone, Agu Annast stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Ärsis came out of the goal and Agu Annast tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Agu Annast made the kick off in the second half. Tom Ärsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agu Annast in the 52nd minute of play. Elmo Kirsimäe hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Rene Karju sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fc Monza's Tom Ärsis didn't even have to move. If Adolf Leks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Ärsis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agu Annast went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tom Ärsis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agu Annast's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Adolf Leks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tom Ärsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
