With a little luck, Kani JK's Kuno Valgma got control of the ball when Bruno Rihma tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kani JK's zone, Volli Kartau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuno Valgma came out of the goal and Volli Kartau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Rihma struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kuno Valgma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tõõrakõrve vutimehed. Guido Värk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kuno Valgma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Volli Kartau made the kick off in the second half. Janari Hääl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eikki Kaldalu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kani JK's Alex Nahasepp got a free kick in the 54th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Guido Värk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tõõrakõrve vutimehed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kani JK the free kick. Guido Värk kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match.
