Ahti Toom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Lääne in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Kuldar Nukki notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Rapla Dynamo's Ahti Toom. Ahti Toom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the game, Janek Taaber lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Maido Teeäär. Janek Taaber in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maido Teeäär, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 20 minutes into the match, Fc Rapla Dynamo's goal looked a bit too open when Kuldar Nukki came free, but Ahti Toom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janek Taaber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Maido Teeäär when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fc Rapla Dynamo's Janek Taaber was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 28th minute, Janek Taaber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Rapla Dynamo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldar Nukki in the 31st minute of play forced Fc Rapla Dynamo's goalkeeper Ahti Toom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game, Kuldar Nukki dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Janek Taaber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tropicalopolos FC's Maido Teeäär proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Tropicalopolos FC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Janek Taaber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tropicalopolos FC's Maido Teeäär was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maido Teeäär made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janek Taaber in the 54th minute of play. Fc Rapla Dynamo's Mark Mikiver got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Herbert Lehepuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Tropicalopolos FC defense, Janek Taaber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maido Teeäär. The Tropicalopolos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maido Teeäär should have stopped the shot. Maido Teeäär stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janek Taaber's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Janek Taaber came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Fc Rapla Dynamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janek Taaber couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Janek Taaber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Rapla Dynamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Janek Taaber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maido Teeäär breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Mikiver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Rapla Dynamo's zone, Robi Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahti Toom came out of the goal and Robi Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Janek Taaber came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Fc Rapla Dynamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janek Taaber couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tropicalopolos FC booed when Fc Rapla Dynamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Lehepuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Herbert Raudsepp fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tropicalopolos FC's protests and gave Herbert Raudsepp a yellow card for diving instead. Maido Teeäär took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janek Taaber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
