In the 10th minute Priidu Unt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Väino Keskküla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Priidu Unt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Kadarpik charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Kadarpik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 13 ®eede booed when Viru Wõitlejad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Kadarpik didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 21st minute of the match Rene Kadarpik completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rene Kadarpik a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rene Kadarpik hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Olavi Meri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ander Arro got free with Valdek Must in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
