Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Maholm's Elmo Kööp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, FC Maholm's Reino Ida got control of the ball when Harald Ojakäär tried to sneak it across the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Görkem Şahbazoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Görkem Şahbazoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Märt Saamatu having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, FC Maholm's Elmo Kööp made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Märt Saamatu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 minutes, Leandro Testa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maholm and the Lompka players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Maholm getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leandro Testa hit a great ball. Reino Ida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alari Kaljo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Märt Äike charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Märt Äike the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lompka's Märt Saamatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Görkem Şahbazoğlu in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Elmo Kööp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Märt Saamatu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Vaino Vaiknemets sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Maholm's Reino Ida didn't even have to move. 32 minutes into the game, Alari Kaljo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lompka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Maholm the free kick. Elmo Kööp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Ubar charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jass Suur hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alari Kaljo was the one to do the kick off. Lompka's Märt Saamatu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Lompka from getting a goal against them. After having played for 53 minutes, Elmo Kööp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmo Kööp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Elmo Kööp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lompka's Märt Saamatu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Lompka defense, Görkem Şahbazoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Märt Saamatu. The Lompka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Märt Saamatu should have stopped the shot. Elmo Kööp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Märt Saamatu came out and tried to block the shot, but Elmo Kööp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 61st minute. Lompka's Märt Saamatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmo Kööp in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Alari Kaljo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elmo Kööp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Märt Saamatu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Elmo Kööp took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Märt Saamatu to make any attempt to save it. Harald Ojakäär received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Reino Ida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elmo Kööp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Märt Saamatu made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Elmo Kööp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Märt Saamatu. That made the score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. Märt Saamatu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elmo Kööp went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Lompka's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Görkem Şahbazoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Märt Saamatu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmo Kööp, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FC Maholm's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
