With a little luck, FC Wertykal's Eero Kalenik got control of the ball when Simo Aaring tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wertykal's zone, Villu Ainsaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eero Kalenik came out of the goal and Villu Ainsaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Unnaste got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Hütt. In the 39th minute Kalju Kaldmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaarel Taimre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaarel Taimre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Villu Ainsaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaarel Taimre came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wertykal's Kalju Kaldmaa. But to his dismay, Kalju Kaldmaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Mattias Veiderma kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaarel Taimre. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Simo Aaring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eero Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kalju Kaldmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarel Taimre having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Veiderma in the 74th minute of play forced Unnaste's goalkeeper Kaarel Taimre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Villu Ainsaar made a precise shot to the right of Eero Kalenik. FC Wertykal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 85th minute of the match, Mattias Veiderma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kaarel Taimre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mattias Veiderma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wertykal's goalkeeper Eero Kalenik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mattias Veiderma managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wertykal's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Veiderma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaarel Taimre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kalju Kaldmaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
