Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Talvikese's Enar Tõnuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Veiderma in the 3rd minute of play. Eero Kalenik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaino Ojasaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Vaino Ojasaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enar Tõnuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Veiderma, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Talvikese's Rauno Pärjasaar got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Edgar Üleoja made the kick off in the second half. If Kalju Kaldmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute, Mattias Veiderma made a precise shot to the right of Enar Tõnuri. Talvikese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Oodo Vares's late challenge caught a Talvikese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
