The audience was convinced that Villu Ainsaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enar Tõnuri was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Unnaste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villu Ainsaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siim Lipmeister during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siim Lipmeister hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kalju Rahu's late challenge caught a Unnaste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Villu Ainsaar scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enar Tõnuri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rainer Hütt hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unnaste had won after a very even match.
