The tension between the CSKA Tallinn and the ▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute Eino Virks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes CSKA Tallinn got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Vint. Ludwig Dubs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taaniel Rebas in the 17th minute of the match. CSKA Tallinn's Ludwig Dubs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Tallinn from getting a goal against them. Ludwig Dubs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taaniel Rebas went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Taaniel Rebas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Taaniel Rebas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Dubs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ke Hong Yu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. CSKA Tallinn's Ermo Must got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄▀ ▄'s Matthias Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eino Virks in the 40th minute of play. Matthias Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eino Virks in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

CSKA Tallinn's Teet Jusson was substituted for Elmo Lemming. CSKA Tallinn made a substitution. Kusti Noobel replaced Tõnn Üllas. If Taaniel Rebas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
