In the 11th minute of the match Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud got a corner. Vardi JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jörgen Lossmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Kevin Ilves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 12 minutes into the game, Keijo Nuut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vardi JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud the free kick. Keijo Nuut hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Vardi JK's Keijo Heiberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Vardi JK from getting a goal against them. After 17 minutes of play, Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Harrie Kane made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Keijo Heiberg threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Ilves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute Kalmer Lips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agu Redi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keijo Heiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harrie Kane in the 35th minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Lossmann during the 53rd minute. When Kevin Ilves came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Ilves couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Kalmer Lips managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vardi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalmer Lips was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Gerd Pukk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Ilves in the 76th minute of play forced Vardi JK's goalkeeper Keijo Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kunnar Haas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vardi JK's Argo Aug was substituted for Gabriel Riis. In the 79th match minute, Vardi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunnar Haas to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Jörgen Lossmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keijo Heiberg skillfully saved the ball. After 83 played minutes Vardi JK got a freekick which was hit by Kalmer Lips. A collision led to Vardi JK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kunnar Haas hit a great ball. Kevin Ilves might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keijo Heiberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Ilves ran back to his position shaking his head. If Argo Aug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argo Aug in the 96th minute of play forced Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's goalkeeper Agu Redi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud had played much better football throughout.
