The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's goalkeeper Agu Redi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristofer Intel. Agu Redi came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Type O Negative's Kristofer Intel. But to his dismay, Kristofer Intel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Kevin Ilves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Type O Negative's Heiko Uss. Heiko Uss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Tauno Suslik in the 17th minute really tested Agu Redi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 30th minute, Tauno Suslik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Harrie Kane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Heiko Uss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th match minute, Type O Negative was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Maandi to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Ilves scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Uss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heiko Uss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrie Kane in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristofer Intel to make the kick off. Agu Redi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofer Intel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Arvi Muuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Jörgen Lossmann managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sander Vilbaste in the 60 minute of the game. The supporters of Type O Negative booed when Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Ilves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Uss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Lossmann in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Pahapill in the 69th minute of play forced Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's goalkeeper Agu Redi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrie Kane's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heiko Uss firmly grabbed it by the left post. 73 minutes into the game, Kevin Ilves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Heiko Uss. Kevin Ilves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Heiko Uss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Ilves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Harrie Kane notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Type O Negative's Heiko Uss. Heiko Uss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Type O Negative's Heiko Uss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Ilves in the 86th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
