In the 2nd minute, Edvard Ubar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Illimar Alles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Achim Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achim Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Stüf, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aigar Mardipoeg in the 11th minute of play forced SK Leigri's goalkeeper Maarek Ülisoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Illimar Alles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Achim Miner made a huge save. After 14 played minutes Võru FC Helios got a freekick which was hit by Agu Hanson. In the 29th match minute, SK Leigri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Eit to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, SK Leigri's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Oolo came free, but Maarek Ülisoo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achim Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Stüf in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Vinter in the 40th minute of play forced SK Leigri's goalkeeper Maarek Ülisoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achim Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Stüf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Oolo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maarek Ülisoo. Maarek Ülisoo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The SK Leigri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Võru FC Helios were winning 0-1.

The supporters of SK Leigri booed when Võru FC Helios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Ubar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
