Põltsamaa Põllumehed's supporters rose to their feet, but Agur Aavik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Dovgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agur Aavik in the 14th minute of play forced Bongi Patrull's goalkeeper Igor Dovgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agur Aavik in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Dovgan saved Bongi Patrull from getting behind. Bongi Patrull's Igor Dovgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agur Aavik in the 18th minute of play. Igor Dovgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agur Aavik in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Vaino Üürike was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bongi Patrull the free kick. After 66 minutes, Margus Hanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Põltsamaa Põllumehed and the Bongi Patrull players grew even worse after the yellow card. Margus Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Martti Landi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Põltsamaa Põllumehed's goalkeeper Rauno Redi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andris Looga. Igor Dovgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agur Aavik in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Põltsamaa Põllumehed were awarded a corner. Vaino Üürike went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute, Martti Landi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Bongi Patrull could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Põltsamaa Põllumehed throughout the match.
