The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristjan Mäetaguse got free with Rauno Redi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jaanus Ristikivi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Põltsamaa Põllumehed's protests and gave Jaanus Ristikivi a yellow card for diving instead. Rauno Redi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristjan Mäetaguse in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Auckland Koalas got a corner. In the 26th minute Agur Aavik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viljar Kabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasmus Alas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rauno Redi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rauno Redi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristjan Mäetaguse went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristjan Mäetaguse got free with Rauno Redi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rauno Redi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Ciocan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristjan Mäetaguse to strike the kick off in the second half. Rauno Redi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristjan Mäetaguse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viljar Kabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaja Kallas in the 52nd minute of the match. Kristofer Luht hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Viljar Kabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaja Kallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viljar Kabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Voldemar Valmas in the 63rd minute. In the 75th minute, Peedu Kiisk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rauno Redi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Ciocan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Agur Aavik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Viljar Kabral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Beto Marcico struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rauno Redi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auckland Koalas. Ilmar Allikas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Viljar Kabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaino Üürike in the 92nd minute of play. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
