But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Väino Nummert couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Väino Nummert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erkki Ladva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Lepste SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mait Lemmik came free, but Leendert Schimmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pyarni's supporters rose to their feet, but Alican Güngör was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leendert Schimmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Pyarni's Leendert Schimmel threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alican Güngör, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
