Marti Olev started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Dune booed when JuveLogan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Leier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, JuveLogan's goal looked a bit too open when Illimar Valgupera came free, but Hemming Matzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by JuveLogan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mikk Tõnuri was slow to take the kick. During this time Dune's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Dune's Arni Hea to a score. 0-1 in the 6th minute. Hemming Matzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Teraväe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Illimar Valgupera came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Dune fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Illimar Valgupera couldn't finish the play. JuveLogan's Aivar Ridal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heiko Raal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Illimar Valgupera might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemming Matzen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Illimar Valgupera ran back to his position shaking his head. Heiko Raal made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Herbert Virve sent off a good shot on target. Hemming Matzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Illimar Valgupera in the 41st minute of the match. Heiko Raal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marti Olev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Illimar Valgupera was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, JuveLogan's Hemming Matzen got control of the ball when Illimar Valgupera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Olivar Macia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dune's Illimar Valgupera got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Marti Olev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Raal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Illimar Valgupera in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hemming Matzen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Illimar Valgupera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 许阳朗's late challenge caught a Dune's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 许阳朗 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, JuveLogan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 许阳朗 to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Dune's Illimar Valgupera in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hemming Matzen was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for JuveLogan through an amazing save. Dune's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mikk Tõnuri in the 67th minute. The corner led to Dune's Peep Teraväe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. JuveLogan's Hemming Matzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Valt in the 72nd minute of play. Dune were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after JuveLogan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arni Hea took the corner. The corner led Dune's Arni Hea to fire away a dangerous shot which Hemming Matzen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ainar Ütt got free with Hemming Matzen in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Illimar Valgupera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marti Olev in the 84th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Heiko Raal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolf Lausmäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemming Matzen having to interfere.
