Clark Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thor Mets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mardu FS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! After the first half Mardu FS were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Mets to make the kick off.
