Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Priamos Antonopoulos got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Petridis got free with Ilias Papoulis in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th match minute, Monóvrisi BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gylippus Rigatos to maneuver through the defense. Priamos Antonopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aigimios Karaoulanis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Priamos Antonopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikias Fotiadis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilias Papoulis came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikias Fotiadis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. After 18th play minutes Aietes Volakis shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Aigimios Karaoulanis and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 21st match minute, Monóvrisi BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iolkos Gavrilopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Musios Hadjiyianakies sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monóvrisi BC's Ilias Papoulis didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Petridis got free with Ilias Papoulis in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charalambos Petridis came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ilias Papoulis could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Monóvrisi BC's Gylippus Rigatos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Charalambos Petridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ilias Papoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikias Fotiadis struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ilias Papoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sgardheliánika. The supporters of Monóvrisi BC booed when Sgardheliánika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troizen Bertsimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes, Monóvrisi BC's Thanasis Antoniadis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aigimios Karaoulanis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monóvrisi BC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikias Fotiadis in the 45th minute of play forced Monóvrisi BC's goalkeeper Ilias Papoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikias Fotiadis made a kick off. Priamos Antonopoulos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Charalambos Petridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aietes Volakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Aigimios Karaoulanis made a huge save. Lykurgos Iliopoulos's late challenge caught a Sgardheliánika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lykurgos Iliopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Lykurgos Iliopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Musios Hadjiyianakies sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilias Papoulis skillfully saved the ball. Charalambos Petridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Papoulis having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Monóvrisi BC's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Petridis came free, but Ilias Papoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Monóvrisi BC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Iolkos Gavrilopoulos hit a great ball. Nikias Fotiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ilias Papoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilias Papoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikias Fotiadis in the 85th minute of the match. Aietes Volakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troizen Bertsimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Papoulis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Charalambos Petridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sgardheliánika's supporters rose to their feet, but Charalambos Petridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Papoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ankaios Kokkali during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Monóvrisi BC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sgardheliánika a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Musios Hadjiyianakies, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monóvrisi BC's Ilias Papoulis. 3-2. Ilias Papoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikias Fotiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sgardheliánika walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
