An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Tsarouhtsis in the 5th minute of play forced Apoel Stars's goalkeeper Thoralf Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Manuel Dantas in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Apoel Stars's Lykomedes Demas. Thoralf Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aigimios Varvitsiotes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Apoel Stars booed when Siniés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Thodoris Tsarouhtsis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thoralf Hong was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Siniés's Aigimios Varvitsiotes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thoralf Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Pispinis in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Tsarouhtsis in the 52nd minute of play forced Apoel Stars's goalkeeper Thoralf Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alekos Pispinis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Thoralf Hong made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Apoel Stars's Akastos Orfanos got a free kick in the 54th minute. Apoel Stars's Thoralf Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Euneos Kountouroudas in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Apoel Stars getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lykomedes Demas hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, Siniés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nykteus Dounias to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Pispinis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Thoralf Hong made a huge save. Thoralf Hong made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Alekos Pispinis sent off a good shot on target. Juan-Carlos Dios hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Siniés getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Thodoris Tsarouhtsis hit a great ball. Akastos Orfanos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baykam Parskan. Siniés's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Siniés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helios Demakis to maneuver through the defense. Apoel Stars's Lykomedes Demas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Siniés. In the 93rd minute, Aigimios Varvitsiotes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Nessos Yfantis got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Siniés had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
