The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes AEK KOUKLION got a freekick which was hit by Oileus Skandalis. Dhráganon FC's Zinon Argitakos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Arkas Picoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kadmos Paraskevopoulos got free with Khariklo Harames in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kadmos Paraskevopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zinon Argitakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Zinon Argitakos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fanis Villas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes of play, Dhráganon FC's Zinon Argitakos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Villas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Dhráganon FC's Zinon Argitakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fanis Villas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Dhráganon FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, AEK KOUKLION's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Stathopoulos came free, but Fanis Villas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanis Villas was a little too slow when Omiros Stathopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-3. 59 minutes into the game, Thodoris Kakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhráganon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK KOUKLION the free kick. Khariklo Harames didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AEK KOUKLION's Kadmos Paraskevopoulos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Omiros Stathopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Fanis Villas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zinon Argitakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fanis Villas made a huge save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK KOUKLION's goalkeeper Fanis Villas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keyx Horiatis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Zinon Argitakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fanis Villas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. AEK KOUKLION's Kadmos Paraskevopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zinon Argitakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Villas having to interfere. Oileus Skandalis charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oileus Skandalis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AEK KOUKLION getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Oileus Skandalis hit a great ball. When Omiros Stathopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dhráganon FC's protests and gave Omiros Stathopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AEK KOUKLION booed when Dhráganon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Stathopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dhráganon FC played a much better game than AEK KOUKLION and deserved their victory. The AEK KOUKLION players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
