With a little luck, Αθλητική Ένωση Λεμεσού's Sofoklis Patsatzis got control of the ball when Argiris Solomos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Menios Kolovos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match was over Αθλητική Ένωση Λεμεσού could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Farángion BC throughout the match.
