Spectators: 8412 (Terracing: 6309, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) AC OMONOIA's Leonidas Papageorge started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Pasxalis Kyritsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC OMONOIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Pasxalis Kyritsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorikos Danas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Patísia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leukothoe Katsivalis to maneuver through the defense. Dobromir Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kolkhis Rousses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Patísia FC's Thorikos Danas got control of the ball when Leonidas Papageorge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thorikos Danas made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leonidas Papageorge sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Panagiotis Lakiotis threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC OMONOIA's Akheron Atsidakos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pasxalis Kyritsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Thorikos Danas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kolkhis Rousses in the 24th minute of play forced AC OMONOIA's goalkeeper Dobromir Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC OMONOIA's Leonidas Papageorge got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Patísia FC defense, Leonidas Papageorge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thorikos Danas. The Patísia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thorikos Danas should have stopped the shot. Leonidas Papageorge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thorikos Danas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pasxalis Kyritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patísia FC's Thorikos Danas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Patísia FC from getting a goal against them. Dobromir Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prokris Papadakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pasxalis Kyritsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akis Dalianis was the one to do the kick off. Dobromir Purzycki was a little too slow when Arkas Paloumbas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. Dobromir Purzycki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Dalianis in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Patísia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Akheron Atsidakos came free, but Thorikos Danas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pasxalis Kyritsis in the 65th minute of play forced Patísia FC's goalkeeper Thorikos Danas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonidas Papageorge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Thorikos Danas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonidas Papageorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Purzycki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kolkhis Rousses in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Takis Sakellariou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Pasxalis Kyritsis made a precise shot to the right of Thorikos Danas. Patísia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 90 minutes of play, AC OMONOIA's Pasxalis Kyritsis made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorikos Danas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thorikos Danas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pasxalis Kyritsis in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Patísia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonidas Papageorge came free, but Thorikos Danas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC OMONOIA had played much better football throughout.
