Spectators: 6934 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonidas Papageorge started the match with the kick off. If Argiris Solomos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3 minutes into the game, Akheron Atsidakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC OMONOIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farángion BC the free kick. In the 4th minute of the match Likymnios Katsiavrias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dobromir Purzycki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dobromir Purzycki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haides Tassioglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haides Tassioglou in the 11th minute of play forced AC OMONOIA's goalkeeper Dobromir Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Purzycki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laios Mavromichalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Purzycki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argiris Solomos in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, AC OMONOIA's Pasxalis Kyritsis got a free kick in the 15th minute. Argiris Solomos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dobromir Purzycki firmly grabbed it by the left post. AC OMONOIA's Pasxalis Kyritsis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farángion BC's goalkeeper Akheron Brettos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AC OMONOIA's Dobromir Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haides Tassioglou in the 33rd minute of play. Pasxalis Kyritsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Akheron Brettos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC OMONOIA's Akheron Atsidakos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iphikles Christakos, made in the 39th minute of the game. Pasxalis Kyritsis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akheron Brettos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonidas Papageorge in the 42nd minute of play forced Farángion BC's goalkeeper Akheron Brettos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akheron Atsidakos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. AC OMONOIA's Leonidas Papageorge got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Pasxalis Kyritsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC OMONOIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Pasxalis Kyritsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akheron Brettos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Haides Tassioglou made the kick off in the second half. Lykomedes Tsahalis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Farángion BC's Akheron Brettos got control of the ball when Leonidas Papageorge tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Akheron Brettos managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when AC OMONOIA's Leonidas Papageorge fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Akheron Brettos stood somewhat misplaced when Leonidas Papageorge came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. 61 minutes into the match, Farángion BC's goalkeeper Akheron Brettos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pasxalis Kyritsis. Farángion BC's Argiris Solomos got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobromir Purzycki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haides Tassioglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. AC OMONOIA's Dobromir Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haides Tassioglou in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Pasxalis Kyritsis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AC OMONOIA booed when Farángion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makareus Antoniou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, AC OMONOIA's Pavlos Kanavos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonidas Papageorge got free with Akheron Brettos in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Farángion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lykomedes Tsahalis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Leonidas Papageorge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pasxalis Kyritsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC OMONOIA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
