With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haides Telis in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odysseas Nikolakopoulos saved Manchester city from getting behind. Grigoris Malavazos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Iphikles Pintzopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Panayiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Kosmas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haides Telis in the 18th minute of play forced Manchester city's goalkeeper Odysseas Nikolakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lynkeus Horiatis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iphikles Pintzopoulos having to interfere. When Iakchos Tselikas fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Efstathiou UTD's protests and gave Iakchos Tselikas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Efstathiou UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakchos Tselikas to maneuver through the defense. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haides Telis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Pavlos Panayiotopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Efstathiou UTD's Iphikles Pintzopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haides Telis in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odysseas Nikolakopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haides Telis in the 35th minute of play. Iphikles Pintzopoulos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kanake Houlis. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haides Telis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Efstathiou UTD's Giannis Banos. But to his dismay, Giannis Banos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Pavlos Panayiotopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haides Telis in the 57th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavlos Panayiotopoulos in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iphikles Pintzopoulos saved Efstathiou UTD from getting behind. After having played for 60 minutes, Haides Telis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Efstathiou UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haides Telis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Manchester city's Odysseas Nikolakopoulos got control of the ball when Giannis Banos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Efstathiou UTD's Giannis Banos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Odysseas Nikolakopoulos. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. Pavlos Panayiotopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iphikles Pintzopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavlos Panayiotopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Efstathiou UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Panayiotopoulos came free, but Iphikles Pintzopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Lynkeus Horiatis got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 70 minutes into the match. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giannis Banos in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavlos Panayiotopoulos in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iphikles Pintzopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavlos Panayiotopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iphikles Pintzopoulos having to interfere. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haides Telis in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Efstathiou UTD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
