Lynkeus Sarantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The crowd rose to their feet as Tsambí BC's Aigis Mandrapilias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iphikles Pintzopoulos. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. Aigis Mandrapilias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iphikles Pintzopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Aigis Mandrapilias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 59th minute. Ilias Pefanis charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilias Pefanis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Giannis Banos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patroklos Papoulis was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iphikles Pintzopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lynkeus Sarantopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. The Tsambí BC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
