Iakobos Economides charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Selçuk Eldem managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Guðfreður Valbjörnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Martino came free, but Antaios Harames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristo Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Papastavrou during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giorgos Papastavrou hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Martino came free, but Antaios Harames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Guðfreður Valbjörnsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Karavostásis BC booed when F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guðfreður Valbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristo Martino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antaios Harames. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s zone, Lynkeus Galitsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antaios Harames came out of the goal and Lynkeus Galitsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Karavostásis BC booed when F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertus Busch didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Martino in the 65th minute of play forced F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goalkeeper Antaios Harames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antaios Harames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Papastavrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Eteokles Mitsinikos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antaios Harames was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Eteokles Mitsinikos got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 75 minutes into the match. Glaukos Calpis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Antonio Zuccarini was substituted for Jerzy Duda. In the 79th minute, Glaukos Calpis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antaios Harames. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. If Marco Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Priamos Kaisaris scored 1-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selçuk Eldem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karavostásis BC's Selçuk Eldem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priamos Kaisaris in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Lynkeus Galitsis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antaios Harames was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Karavostásis BC played a much better game than F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ and deserved their victory. The F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
