In the 3rd minute Leonidas Rorris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iphikles Pintzopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iphikles Pintzopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonidas Rorris in the 16th minute of play. Efstathiou UTD's Iphikles Pintzopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priamos Calogerakis in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Dhafnotí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seleykos Rachiotis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dhafnotí getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Priamos Calogerakis hit a great ball. Iphikles Pintzopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Priamos Calogerakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iphikles Pintzopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Priamos Calogerakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Efstathiou UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Priamos Calogerakis came free, but Iphikles Pintzopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonidas Rorris in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iphikles Pintzopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Priamos Calogerakis scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iphikles Pintzopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haides Telis to strike the kick off in the second half. Priamos Calogerakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iphikles Pintzopoulos having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Dhafnotí's Priamos Calogerakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iphikles Pintzopoulos. Iphikles Pintzopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Leonidas Rorris sped through Efstathiou UTD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iphikles Pintzopoulos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonidas Rorris in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iphikles Pintzopoulos saved Efstathiou UTD from getting behind. Ilias Pefanis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Dhafnotí's Themis Giannopoulos got a free kick in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Dhafnotí's goal looked a bit too open when Haides Telis came free, but Omar Geneix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilias Pefanis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lykos Nikolakakos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Dhafnotí's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonidas Rorris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Priamos Calogerakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dhafnotí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Priamos Calogerakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Efstathiou UTD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dhafnotí were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
