Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ the free kick. Romulo Gaur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Deukalion Pappayiorgas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th play minute Romulo Gaur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Deukalion Pappayiorgas. 1-0. If Jamal Bowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deukalion Pappayiorgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Romulo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deukalion Pappayiorgas having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Bowen came free, but Antaios Harames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
