The crowd rose to their feet as Karavostásis BC's Lynkeus Galitsis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Odysseas Nikolakopoulos. That made the score 0-15 after 85 minutes of play. Cristo Martino in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Odysseas Nikolakopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Karavostásis BC's Toninho Pinheiro got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Koulis Kopsas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odysseas Nikolakopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. Cristo Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseas Nikolakopoulos having to interfere. Karavostásis BC played a much better game than Manchester city and deserved their victory. The Manchester city players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
