Kapaneus Giannacopulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Anorthosis Famagusta FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sergey Velizarov hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C's Ture Vester nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kapaneus Giannacopulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Inakhos Petropoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kapaneus Giannacopulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kapaneus Giannacopulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inakhos Petropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kapaneus Giannacopulos made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ture Vester sent off a good shot on target. Ture Vester took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kapaneus Giannacopulos. Kapaneus Giannacopulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 32nd minute, Ture Vester made a precise shot to the right of Kapaneus Giannacopulos. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C booed when Anorthosis Famagusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aipytos Vlachos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heriberto Haedo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kapaneus Giannacopulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kapaneus Giannacopulos was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Inakhos Petropoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inakhos Petropoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergey Velizarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Antaios Fotopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Kapaneus Giannacopulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Vester in the 55th minute of play. Kapaneus Giannacopulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Vester in the 57th minute of the match. Alekos Georgousopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alekos Georgousopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alekos Georgousopoulos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C's Ture Vester made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kapaneus Giannacopulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Kapaneus Giannacopulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Vester in the 63rd minute of play. Kapaneus Giannacopulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inakhos Petropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Vester came free, but Kapaneus Giannacopulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Ture Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kapaneus Giannacopulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C's Inakhos Petropoulos made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kapaneus Giannacopulos came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C's Inakhos Petropoulos. But to his dismay, Inakhos Petropoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. 90 minutes into the match, Ture Vester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kapaneus Giannacopulos. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ture Vester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Abílio Sobral managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Abílio Sobral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kapaneus Giannacopulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aglauros Kavallieratos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ptolemeos Vassilopulos in the 98th minute of the match. In the 99th minute Anorthosis Famagusta FC were awarded a corner. Agix Barraboutis went to the cornerflag to take it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ΠΡΟΟΔΟΣ ΚΑΙΜΑΚΛΙΟΥ F.C fully deserved thier win.
