Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aigis Mandrapilias made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Efstathiou UTD booed when Tsambí BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Katsivalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Giannis Banos came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Efstathiou UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Banos couldn't finish the play. Peneios Rachiotis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Aigis Mandrapilias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Iphikles Pintzopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Yfantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giannis Banos's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kapaneus Karnoupakis got free with Iphikles Pintzopoulos in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Giannis Banos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Yfantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Banos in the 22nd minute of the match. When Giannis Malihoudis fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tsambí BC's protests and gave Giannis Malihoudis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tsambí BC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Giannis Malihoudis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Efstathiou UTD's Haides Telis got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kapaneus Karnoupakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giannis Banos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Hector Yfantis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Efstathiou UTD. 32 minutes into the game, Peneios Rachiotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tsambí BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Efstathiou UTD the free kick. Peneios Rachiotis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Iphikles Pintzopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aigis Mandrapilias in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Efstathiou UTD's Iphikles Pintzopoulos got control of the ball when Kapaneus Karnoupakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efstathiou UTD's Haides Telis has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 41st minute. Iphikles Pintzopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aigis Mandrapilias in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haides Telis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iphikles Pintzopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kapaneus Karnoupakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Haides Telis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tsambí BC's Hector Yfantis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aigis Mandrapilias in the 57th minute of play forced Efstathiou UTD's goalkeeper Iphikles Pintzopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Yfantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haides Telis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Yfantis was a little too slow when Haides Telis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-1. After 68 played minutes Tsambí BC got a freekick which was hit by Troizen Diplarakos. 69 minutes into the match, Iakchos Tselikas sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hector Yfantis threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Iakchos Tselikas this time. Iphikles Pintzopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aigis Mandrapilias in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Tsambí BC's goal looked a bit too open when Haides Telis came free, but Hector Yfantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Tsambí BC got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Katsivalis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilias Pefanis during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Efstathiou UTD's Ilias Pefanis got a free kick in the 84th minute. Troizen Diplarakos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tsambí BC's zone, Haides Telis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Yfantis came out of the goal and Haides Telis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Tsambí BC's goalkeeper Hector Yfantis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Banos. Iphikles Pintzopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aigis Mandrapilias in the 99th minute of the match. The Tsambí BC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Efstathiou UTD's performance. The match ended with a win for Efstathiou UTD.
