With an all-out effort, Panathinaikos f.c's Thanos Pappageorge threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonio De Messemaecker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio De Messemaecker was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Rahne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Teodorescu in the 78th minute of the match. Oktay Akça made a great header on らнΛ尺Қら Fㄈ's corner, it was just that Panathinaikos f.c's Edgar Rahne managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Edgar Rahne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd minute of the match らнΛ尺Қら Fㄈ got a corner. Panathinaikos f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Edgar Rahne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
