In the 6th match minute, FC Koutourou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asopos Kapsimalles to maneuver through the defense. Iraklis Gerolakkou FC's Kerkyon Balouris got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Koutourou's Dimosthenis Haritopoulos got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kerkyon Balouris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alekos Banos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Koutourou's Asopos Kapsimalles got a free kick in the 14th minute. Aias Adamidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renos Stathopoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Aias Adamidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinomoas Mousa having to interfere. Iraklis Gerolakkou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerkyon Balouris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renos Stathopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Aias Adamidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Koutourou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aias Adamidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Koutourou's zone, Kerkyon Balouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Stathopoulos came out of the goal and Kerkyon Balouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kerkyon Balouris to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aias Adamidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Koutourou's supporters rose to their feet, but Aias Adamidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oinomoas Mousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Odysseas Yfantis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kolkhis Makrodimitris during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kolkhis Makrodimitris struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Oinomoas Mousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koutourou. After having played for 75 minutes, Aias Adamidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Koutourou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aias Adamidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes FC Koutourou got a freekick which was hit by Kolkhis Makrodimitris. FC Koutourou's Renos Stathopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerkyon Balouris in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Kerkyon Balouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aias Adamidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Oinomoas Mousa made a huge save. Iraklis Gerolakkou FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
