But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keyx Christakis couldn't finish the play. Ruud Nistelrooy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Camron Bray 8 minutes into the match. Ruud Nistelrooy in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camron Bray, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nea Salamis's Orthros Antonopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aigeus Theofilopoulos in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Zsolt Vígh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pipo Inzaghi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camron Bray came out and tried to block the shot, but Pipo Inzaghi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 17th minute. Ruud Nistelrooy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Camron Bray 20 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kaineus Rigatos sped through ΑΝΟΡΘΩΣΗ ΑΜΜΟΧΩΣΤΟΥ F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camron Bray. Pipo Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camron Bray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pipo Inzaghi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camron Bray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camron Bray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ruud Nistelrooy might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camron Bray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruud Nistelrooy ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nea Salamis's Pipo Inzaghi in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΑΝΟΡΘΩΣΗ ΑΜΜΟΧΩΣΤΟΥ F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute of the match Gary Neville sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camron Bray skillfully saved the ball. If Pipo Inzaghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aigeus Theofilopoulos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, ΑΝΟΡΘΩΣΗ ΑΜΜΟΧΩΣΤΟΥ F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Vígh to maneuver through the defense. Camron Bray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Nistelrooy in the 53rd minute of play. When Nea Salamis's Pipo Inzaghi in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camron Bray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaineus Rigatos might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camron Bray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaineus Rigatos ran back to his position shaking his head. Camron Bray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud Nistelrooy's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Camron Bray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipo Inzaghi in the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Nea Salamis's Orthros Antonopoulos got control of the ball when Zsolt Vígh tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nea Salamis's Pipo Inzaghi in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camron Bray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipo Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Pipo Inzaghi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Pipo Inzaghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camron Bray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipo Inzaghi in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nea Salamis's zone, Zsolt Vígh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orthros Antonopoulos came out of the goal and Zsolt Vígh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud Nistelrooy in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. ΑΝΟΡΘΩΣΗ ΑΜΜΟΧΩΣΤΟΥ F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ruud Nistelrooy put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camron Bray. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keyx Christakis during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ΑΝΟΡΘΩΣΗ ΑΜΜΟΧΩΣΤΟΥ F.C booed when Nea Salamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keyx Christakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Nea Salamis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
