In the 7th minute Dionisio Dicastillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Stagias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Katsambis came free, but Aris Stagias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal F.C's Aris Stagias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Katsambis in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Dicastillo came free, but Aris Stagias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kithairon Strilakos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Mánthia booed when Arsenal F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prokris Petrohilos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Mánthia's Iphitos Gravari dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Arsenal F.C's Aris Stagias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal F.C from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Dicastillo scored 0-11 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aris Stagias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aigeus Laganas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aris Stagias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aris Stagias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evripidis Fitrakis in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mánthia's Anestis Katsambis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aris Stagias. That made the score 0-12 after 63 minutes of play. After 70 minutes of play, Mánthia's Dionisio Dicastillo made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aris Stagias was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Dionisio Dicastillo sped through Arsenal F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aris Stagias. Dionisio Dicastillo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aris Stagias. Aris Stagias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as Anestis Katsambis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aris Stagias. That made the score 0-18 in the 88 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Anestis Katsambis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-19. Aris Stagias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aris Stagias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Katsambis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Mánthia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arsenal F.C.
