The audience thought a goal was coming when Vancho Yotzov got free with Kalin Gúrdanov in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Velizar Ralchevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asen Tatarev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzocho Stankev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Vancho Yotzov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Kalowo's Kalin Gúrdanov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Vancho Yotzov put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kalin Gúrdanov.
