In the 8th minute Stoyko Kunovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minko Ranov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minko Ranov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yanek Sergeev's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Minko Ranov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stoyko Kunovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stoyko Kunovski came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Stisharow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stoyko Kunovski couldn't finish the play. Stisharow's Yanek Sergeev got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Stoyko Kunovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Minko Ranov was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Millan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetlozar Prúchkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Yanislav Irinchev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Minko Ranov skillfully saved the ball. Gyuro Súrchadzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Stoyko Kunovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Minko Ranov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, Stisharow's Bozhin Vidulov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Minko Ranov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stisharow reached it. 46 minutes into the match, Yanek Sergeev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Minko Ranov. Millan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yanek Sergeev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stoyko Kunovski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Minko Ranov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanek Sergeev in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Stamen Keremidchiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yanek Sergeev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Minko Ranov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Simeon Dipchikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filcho Prangov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Millan FC's zone, Stoyko Kunovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minko Ranov came out of the goal and Stoyko Kunovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chavdar Panekov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Minko Ranov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Millan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyko Kunovski came free, but Minko Ranov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stoyko Kunovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamen Keremidchiyski charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stamen Keremidchiyski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Millan FC got a freekick which was hit by Stamen Keremidchiyski. After 75 minutes, Lachezar Kararizov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millan FC and the Stisharow players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Millan FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lachezar Kararizov hit a great ball. Minko Ranov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stoyko Kunovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dimcho Srúndev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yanek Sergeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minko Ranov having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Millan FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimcho Srúndev.
