Bogomil Kandev hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Kote's Gospodin Gogev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimcho Srúndev in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Bogomil Kandev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogomil Kandev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasko Bogoev in the 15th minute of play forced Millan FC's goalkeeper Minko Ranov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Dimcho Srúndev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gospodin Gogev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gospodin Gogev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimcho Srúndev, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bogomil Kandev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Minko Ranov having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Bogomil Kandev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nasko Bogoev in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Minko Ranov saved Millan FC from getting behind. Minko Ranov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogomil Kandev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nasko Bogoev was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Filcho Prangov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filcho Prangov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gospodin Gogev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kote's Gospodin Gogev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filcho Prangov in the 60th minute of play. Bogomil Kandev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Bozhil Havov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Millan FC booed when Kote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Zyapkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svetlozar Prúchkov, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Dimcho Srúndev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetlozar Velikov hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nasko Bogoev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Minko Ranov was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Minko Ranov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogomil Kandev in the 87th minute.
