Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) Tzeko Harmandzhiev made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Sofia City booed when CSKA Agathopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krasimir Ayranov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ginyo Shuytzov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dimo Dabchev came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sofia City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimo Dabchev couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes, Sofia City's Denimir Chelebiyski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adalbert Zhekovski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sofia City reached it. After a rather tough play, CSKA Agathopolis's Vladimir Matzov got a free kick in the 12th minute. CSKA Agathopolis's Adalbert Zhekovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimo Dabchev in the 13th minute of play. With 15 minutes on the clock, Nedyalko Vezirski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. CSKA Agathopolis's Adalbert Zhekovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzeko Harmandzhiev in the 20th minute of play. Adalbert Zhekovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimo Dabchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ginyo Shuytzov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Chavdar Nikolov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofia City's Chavdar Nikolov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sofia City from getting a goal against them. If Tzeko Harmandzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sofia City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ginyo Shuytzov to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimo Dabchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adalbert Zhekovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tzeko Harmandzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Tzeko Harmandzhiev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. CSKA Agathopolis's Adalbert Zhekovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Agathopolis from getting a goal against them. If Tzeko Harmandzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 played minutes CSKA Agathopolis got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Nikolov. Adalbert Zhekovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzeko Harmandzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th play minute Dimo Dabchev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adalbert Zhekovski. 0-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSKA Agathopolis's goalkeeper Adalbert Zhekovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ginyo Shuytzov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sofia City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sofia City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
