In the 4th minute Svetlin Bozhankov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deyan Krushovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ФК Светкавица's Rashko Kapitanov got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, ФК Светкавица's goalkeeper Kubrat Zehirev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spiro Proshev. The audience was convinced that Svetlin Bozhankov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deyan Krushovski was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Rashko Kapitanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deyan Krushovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Koniawo's Spiro Proshev got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koniawo's goalkeeper Deyan Krushovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 24 in the game by Spiro Proshev from a close distance when the talented Kubrat Zehirev managed to make a qualified save. ФК Светкавица's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, ФК Светкавица's Doychin Tzalov got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes, Pantaley Miliev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koniawo and the ФК Светкавица players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pantaley Miliev kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Koniawo's zone, Doychin Tzalov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deyan Krushovski came out of the goal and Doychin Tzalov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Svetlin Bozhankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashko Kapitanov in the 40th minute of play forced Koniawo's goalkeeper Deyan Krushovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viden Platnarov, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Koniawo's Deyan Krushovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashko Kapitanov in the 46th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Svetlin Bozhankov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК Светкавица's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetlin Bozhankov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deyan Krushovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The supporters of Koniawo booed when ФК Светкавица was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashko Kapitanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miladin Radosov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Tomislav Yonevski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stamen Shikalanov, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Miladin Radosov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Stoil Abadzhiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koniawo and the ФК Светкавица players grew even worse after the yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, Koniawo's Spiro Proshev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kubrat Zehirev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Miladin Radosov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koniawo and the ФК Светкавица players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deyan Krushovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlin Bozhankov in the 87th minute of play. Svetlin Bozhankov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Koniawo got a freekick which was hit by Stoil Abadzhiev. Svetlin Bozhankov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Deyan Krushovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
