Traycho Benov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bozhidar Fasulkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marin Petleshkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignat Poptodorov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kaloyan Mitrashkov sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Rangel Vaysilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitan Neev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Benislav Brashnarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ФК Сокол 70's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akademi 21 the free kick. The supporters of Akademi 21 booed when ФК Сокол 70 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benislav Brashnarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Vandov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ignat Poptodorov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Tzocho Piskov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК Сокол 70's supporters rose to their feet, but Tzocho Piskov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bozhidar Fasulkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzocho Piskov in the 53rd minute of the match. Traycho Benov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bozhidar Fasulkov having to make a save. During the 57th minute of the match Benislav Brashnarov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benislav Brashnarov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Akademi 21 booed when ФК Сокол 70 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benislav Brashnarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Traycho Benov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bozhidar Fasulkov having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Traycho Benov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Kaloyan Mitrashkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ФК Сокол 70's Ignat Poptodorov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Traycho Benov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Marin Petleshkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignat Poptodorov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Tzocho Piskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ФК Сокол 70 and the Akademi 21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, ФК Сокол 70 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzocho Piskov to maneuver through the defense. After 86th play minutes Marin Petleshkov shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Ignat Poptodorov and just under the crossbar into goal. Bozhidar Fasulkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Traycho Benov in the 98th minute. ФК Сокол 70's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Akademi 21 had won, even though ФК Сокол 70 had held more of the ball.
