Kovachevtsi's Dimitar Rozev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Kovachevtsi from getting a goal against them. After 15 played minutes MAREK DUPNICA got a freekick which was hit by Peyo Bekyarov. Tzvetoslav Klincharski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denislav Radomirov in the 18th minute of play. Genadi Butev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kovachevtsi getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Genadi Butev hit a great ball. If Vencho Bahchevanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emil Dúrvenyashki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Rozev having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vencho Bahchevanov got free with Dimitar Rozev in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitar Rozev was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Roman Ladzhov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Ladzhov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyo Bekyarov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genadi Butev in the 44th minute of play forced MAREK DUPNICA's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Klincharski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Ladzhov struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dimitar Rozev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAREK DUPNICA. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tzvetelin Dzhoganov made the kick off in the second half. If Roman Ladzhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Vencho Bahchevanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kovachevtsi's Dimitar Rozev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genadi Butev during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Kovachevtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genadi Butev to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, MAREK DUPNICA's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Klincharski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denislav Radomirov. After a rather tough play, Kovachevtsi's Genadi Butev got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Dúrvenyashki in the 75th minute of play forced Kovachevtsi's goalkeeper Dimitar Rozev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genadi Butev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tzvetoslav Klincharski made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, Ognyan Misliev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tzvetoslav Klincharski. Ognyan Misliev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Genadi Butev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Vencho Bahchevanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Rozev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, MAREK DUPNICA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
