Spectators: 8121 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) PFK Beroe's Jelte Bleiswijk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slavyan Yotzev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes PFK Beroe got a freekick which was hit by Boyan Parlapanski. After a rather tough play, PFK Beroe's Boyan Parlapanski got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Boyan Parlapanski fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PFK Beroe's protests and gave Boyan Parlapanski a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes PFK Beroe got a freekick which was hit by Boyan Parlapanski. In the 29th match minute, PFK Beroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiril Lambovski to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Alek Pramatarov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Koprowski skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Jelte Bleiswijk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Batanovtzi's Volodya Bochev. Volodya Bochev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes of play, FC Batanovtzi's Stoyadin Godinov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Koprowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slavyan Yotzev to make the kick off. Evtim Malchev hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The FC Batanovtzi fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Batanovtzi's Slavyan Yotzev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jelte Bleiswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Batanovtzi's Volodya Bochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelte Bleiswijk in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of FC Batanovtzi booed when PFK Beroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiril Lambovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jelte Bleiswijk in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volodya Bochev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evtim Bradinski made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PFK Beroe's Daniel Arhangelov. When FC Batanovtzi's Slavyan Yotzev in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PFK Beroe's goalie prevented a goal. Alek Pramatarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Olaf Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, PFK Beroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boncho Hvoynev to maneuver through the defense. Olaf Koprowski stood somewhat misplaced when Stoyadin Godinov came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Volodya Bochev came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by PFK Beroe's Jelte Bleiswijk. But to his dismay, Jelte Bleiswijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
