Yuli Kúrpachev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dragan Tzoykov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bozhidar Kulaksúzov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Левски София 1914's Dragan Tzoykov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bozhidar Kulaksúzov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 14th play minute Yuli Kúrpachev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bozhidar Kulaksúzov. 3-0. Bozhidar Kulaksúzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragan Tzoykov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. But to his dismay, Dilyan Vezirski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Nedyalko Tuparov kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dragan Tzoykov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bozhidar Kulaksúzov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Penko Saev's late challenge caught a Левски София 1914's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Gaberevo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Левски София 1914:s goal. In the 88th minute, Dragan Tzoykov made a precise shot to the right of Bozhidar Kulaksúzov. Gaberevo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. When Deyan Paunov came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gaberevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deyan Paunov couldn't finish the play. Nedyalko Tuparov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Zhecho Vidulov made a huge save. When Dragan Tzoykov came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Левски София 1914 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragan Tzoykov couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Левски София 1914 were the better team. Левски София 1914's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
