An unexpectedly hard shot by Belcho Katzkov in the 17th minute of play forced Bakalite F.C.'s goalkeeper Vladimir Svilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severin Deshov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Yanek Zaykov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanek Zaykov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bakalite F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
