Thanks to some nice moves Velin Marin could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Encho Trashliev however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Stoyadin Garibov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PRUSA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartak Varna 1918 the free kick. Stoyadin Garibov hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Radoy Otashliyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Sivov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velin Marin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rangel Fezliyski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Encho Trashliev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute, PRUSA FC's Kubrat Mindizov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Encho Trashliev. Encho Trashliev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Lilcho Dungarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak Varna 1918's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lilcho Dungarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Encho Trashliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radko Pogonchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kubrat Mindizov charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kubrat Mindizov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spartak Varna 1918 booed when PRUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubrat Mindizov didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rangel Fezliyski made a kick off. Spartak Varna 1918's Encho Trashliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velin Marin in the 55th minute of play. Encho Trashliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubrat Mindizov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tzocho Chovanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PRUSA FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
