ФК Фанагория's Velichko Mitrakiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chudomir Ilarionov in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Kloczko in the 7th minute of play forced Crusaders of Dark's goalkeeper Totyo Popisakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chudomir Ilarionov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hristiyan Tochev hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Dochko Razpopov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Velichko Mitrakiev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Totyo Popisakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Zacharczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Crusaders of Dark's Totyo Popisakov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Crusaders of Dark from getting a goal against them. When Einar Hjortberg fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crusaders of Dark's protests and gave Einar Hjortberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Crusaders of Dark getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Einar Hjortberg hit a great ball. Chudomir Ilarionov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ФК Фанагория getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Waldemar Grabowicz hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Chudomir Ilarionov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Velichko Mitrakiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chudomir Ilarionov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chudomir Ilarionov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velichko Mitrakiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Velichko Mitrakiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chudomir Ilarionov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Veselin Taushanov in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Crusaders of Dark's Eivind Lundemo. 47 minutes into the match, Crusaders of Dark's goalkeeper Totyo Popisakov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neno Burmov. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chudomir Ilarionov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Crusaders of Dark's Chudomir Ilarionov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Velichko Mitrakiev. That made the score 0-1 after 51 minutes of play. In the 55th minute, ФК Фанагория's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chudomir Ilarionov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, ФК Фанагория's Velin Golubarev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dochko Razpopov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Velichko Mitrakiev. ФК Фанагория's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The throw-in from Neno Burmov in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Crusaders of Dark's Eligio Rojas. Ziemowit Kloczko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Totyo Popisakov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neno Burmov in the 76th minute of play forced Crusaders of Dark's goalkeeper Totyo Popisakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hristiyan Tochev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Totyo Popisakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crusaders of Dark's Chudomir Ilarionov got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chudomir Ilarionov fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crusaders of Dark's protests and gave Chudomir Ilarionov a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Crusaders of Dark walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
